A memorable finale at the Auckland Domain marking the end of an extraordinary 4-year commemoration of New Zealand's WW100. We will remember them.

Armistice Day in Devonport

An Armistice wreath was laid at 'The Untidy Soldier' on my behalf by our North Shore electorate chair David McKeown. Lest we forget.

St Leo's School Village Fair & 125th Jubilee

All the fun of a great old fashioned village fair at the annual St Leo's School Fair. I enjoyed spinning the wheel and pulling the wooden racehorses, the icing on the cake was stocking up on delectable homemade jams and preserves.

Best BBQ Tips

I enjoyed being MC for a day at the North Harbour Club's final lunch for the year. It was fun catching up again with the keynote speaker, well-known foodie Annabelle White. Her BBQ tips were, "No poking, no pricking, and only one turn" and "Never BBQ in the nude". Hard to argue with that sage advice.

Another Stellar Year

It is always encouraging to hear what Westlake Boys are achieving and receive the latest news from Headmaster David Ferguson and former Westlake pupil now Board Chair Andrew Nicoll.

Hot Topic: Climate Change

An interested and engaged crowd gathered to discuss National's position on Climate Change and the upcoming Zero Carbon Bill.

Team Maggie Lunch

A mouthwatering convivial lunch at Tokyo Bay to farewell Monika who has worked in my Takapuna Electorate Office for the past 6 years. Monika has been an outstanding electorate agent and I've been fortunate to have kept her for so long and wish her well for what I'm sure will be a bright future in the private sector. She's not going far and now that she's not working for me has joined my North Shore Executive. A very warm welcome to Miriam who has joined Dani and Holly in my electorate office.

End of Life Choice: Public Meeting

Discussing the pros and cons of the End of Life Choice Bill proposing to change the Crimes Act to allow assisted suicide and culpable homicide.

NZ Flower & Garden Show

It was a pleasure to open this year's NZ Flower and Garden Show which celebrates NZ's horticultural and design industries. I've been to all 20 Flower Shows from Ellerslie to Christchurch and now to the Henderson Trust Arena. Well worth a visit.

Flower Power

Reunited with the ever-entertaining Ruud 'the bug man' Kleinpaste from Maggie's Garden Show days at the BOP Garden & Art Festival and Long Lunch.
